Annals of log confusion: SlurpConfirm404
This error.log entry confused me:
[Wed Jun 11 17:09:03 2008] [error] [client 72.30.215.46] \
File does not exist: /var/www/that-darned-site/SlurpConfirm404
Looking it up in Yahoo Webcrawler FAQ unconfused me.
(After I’d looked it up, I saw that the IP is owned by Inktomi Corp. – ye olde searche outfit.)

Hating on Sarge
Your Debian Sarge’s web serving has gone weird on you. You restart processes, trouble prevails. Then try this.
sudo netstat -tlnp
What you’d need to get the apache2 process id, to sudo kill -9 <your process ID here> it. A few times…
When all are dead, restart. “It’s a Sarge thing.”

My sister Karin: now a cook
Just got an awesome SMS from my sister Karin: We made it. See you tomorrow at 6 pm. This means her education as a cook is finished, and that we’ll celebrate that.
This summer she’ll be cooking professionally, in a Copenhagen restaurant kitchen at Christianshavn. I’ll return with exact details, for the interested gourmand.
I’m very proud [...]
